Very expected game when 5th ranked SlovenianKrka (7-13) lost to first ranked Serbian Mega BG (9-11) in Novo Mesto 78-82 on Thursday. The winners were led by Slovenian forward Urban Kroflic (197-2006) who scored that evening 24 points and 5 rebounds and forward Bogoljub Markovic (210-2005) supported him with 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Mega BG players scored in double figures. Even 15 points and 6 rebounds by swingman Zak Smrekar (201-2006) did not help to save the game for Krka . American point guard Khalil Brantley (185-2001, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Mega BG have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-11 record. Loser Krka keeps the fifth place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Vienna.
